danger:
toxic waste dump - please stay out.
Personally, I always
admired these people on the magazines’ covers and on health
products’ labels. They look so full of vitality and energy.
As time went by, and I did more research on wellness matters, I
found that toxic build-up in the body is one of the significant
reasons why we lack this vitality. Some of us’ skins aren’t
exactly smooth as we see on those pictures. And we lack the
energy to do the things we want to.
In this article I want to discuss the effects of toxins in our
body, and then we’ll look at some practical ways to control
these toxins.
The day that you look and feel the same as a magazine model
might be just around the corner. To me this means that I could
work long hours and still enjoy my wife’s company. Maybe that
would mean to you to be advance in your career, or to have
energy for your hobby. That is not to mention the peace of mind
that the detoxification process might just reduce your
likelihood to develop some serious disease.
It is well known that impurities in our bodies could result in
minor discomforts such as headaches or being a little bloated,
right through to serious conditions such as liver damage or
cancer.
Here is a list of conditions that has been associated with toxic
build-up in the body: Low Immune System, digestive problems,
body odour, impaired immunity, fibromyalgia, arthritis, gout,
chronic fatigue, constipation, weight gain or loss, cellulite,
skin conditions, such as acne and rashes, hormonal imbalances,
Candida, lupus, chemicals sensitivities, inflammation, breast
congestion, foot and ankle swelling, chronic pain and a lot
more.
What I read about toxins in the body make me almost more
confused than being helpful. Let’s use this paragraph to find
out what is poisonous and what isn’t. Natural food isn’t toxic,
and everything else is. Toxins might be hash chemicals that’ll
kill any human being in a matter of minutes, to something that
make small damages at a time. There are environmental toxins,
food-related toxins, medication, lifestyle toxins, to name a
few.
The problem start to become more obvious when the toxic intake
is more that the toxic elimination. Or when the food we ate
doesn’t get eliminated within 24 hours. That is when these
toxins really begin to damage our cells and systems. These
damages lead to the symptoms mentioned earlier. Even if you have
only mild headaches, it’s no fun.
When you Goolge detox and related words, you’ll find lots of
different ways to cleanse your system. I’m going to list a
couple of practical and effective ways to restore the toxic
intake-elimination balance.
Prevention is better than cure. Avoid known toxins, such as
smoking and even second hand smoke and highly polluted areas.
There are toxins that leak from our food utensils such as
plastic containers or aluminium pots and pans. And then there is
chemical substances used in farming practices which are the
toxins we could quite easily prevent.
Drink lots of water. Water is the medium in which all metabolic
processes takes place. During these processes, a waste product
needs to be carried away. The more often you need to urinate and
the greater the volume, the more easily toxins get dumped. It
also helps in a way to get rid of the number 2 elimination.
Exercise often, it increases blood and lymphatic circulation.
The heart pumps blood through the body. By this means nutrients
get delivered to the cells. Some of the waste products also get
removed by the blood. By the system designed for removing waste,
is the lymphatic system. And the only way the lymph gets pumped
is by moving your body. All of the movements we make move the
lymph around. The result is that it could get quicker to the
liver to remove the toxins.
Eat a lot of fibre. Fibre is the last vehicle for toxins to be
removed. Once the lymph dumps the toxins in the larger
intestines, fibre needs to quickly absorb these toxins. If there
is enough fibre, this is very easy to do. But if there isn’t
enough fibre, the toxins are absorbed again. Fibre also helps to
make bowel movement much easier.
Eat as much as possible organic food. The majority of commercial
produced food is not organic. This means that there are toxins
in this food that we can avoid.
We get into contact with toxins every day. Some we can’t avoid,
but some we definitely can avoid. These toxins cause immediate
problems such as headaches and it can lead to serious diseases
over the long run.
Our circumstances is so different from each other’s, we need to
find something for our specific needs. If it is possible for you
to move to an area where the air pollution is of lesser extend,
do so. If you can buy organic food, do so. Your body would
absolutely appreciate it. And you’ll be rewarded with more
energy, less small discomforts and a smaller chance to develop a
serious disease.
